Chaos Productions
Chaos Productions, the architect of Exotica 1, has returned to create the X-Ball, a night of fetish and fun. But for those of you unaware of what the X-Ball has in store, let yourself be enlightened with a tidbit of history …
Stilt walkers, fire breathers and belly and burlesque dancers all sound like parts of a freak show. And, well, they are … the Chaos Productions freak show that is. But besides these side show performers that Chaos features, the company also offers a large array of alternative models. This was all the innovative idea of retired dominatrix Ally Stapleton. “Because there is such a call for freaks in models in Detroit,” Stapleton says, “I started a side show production company.”
After doing shows around Detroit, at venues like Wild Orchid, an encounter with renowned fetish model Vena set the group on a turbulent adventure. Earlier this year, with the help of Vena, Chaos undertook the task of creating what is the freakishly successful Exotica. The three-day convention, devoted to the different aspects of sex, brought almost 3,000 swingers, voyeurs and fetish fans together.
Thus, Stapleton and Vena have coalesced again, bringing Detroit Exotica 2 on November 9-11. But November just seemed too far away, so the gals began production for this Saturday’s X-Ball. “Basically, the X-Ball is a party to keep the vibe of Exotica alive,” Stapleton expressed. “It’s like one night of partying as hard as you can, remembering Exotica 1 and getting ready for Exotica 2.”
To set the mood of this dark and kinky shindig, the X-Ball will be held at the Leland House Hotel — rumored to be incredibly haunted.
“You go down these big steps and there’s a club called Studio 54 and when you walk in there is going to be ropes all around it. It’s going to be our VIP room,” Stapleton reveals, “and we are going to have a hookah lounge there and it will be set up like a harem with pillows and beautiful fabrics.”
Yet the event has so much more to offer than just a VIP harem room. Switch to the room they call the Labyrinth and you will find the real party.
At midnight, the Chaos crew will perform their main show and while I hate to give you all the juicy details of the show that Stapleton could reveal, I’ll give you some tidbits.
How does a simulated threesome between two straight guys and a girl, belly dancers raising demons, a master fire-torturing his servant, as well as a hook and piercing show by the Chaos Suspension Troupe sound? Not wild enough, you say? What if I say a tentacle porn monster will rape four Sailor Moon girls as a grinder girl attempts to kill the monster with her grinder’s sparks???
As wild and as dark as this party will be, it’s not just for Goths or punks as most people perceive. It's all about the kink factor, Stapleton continually reaffirms.
“We don’t want people who feel they are not Goth enough not to come. I mean there are Goth people there,” Stapleton giggles, “but there are also doctors and lawyers there with their hot ass wives that just want to be kinky.”
If you have this yearning, passionate desire for a “high-caliber erotic and fetish party,” X-Ball will surely satisfy your craving. | RDW
