Re: “Detroit Dog Rescue

Carlilsle keep that humble presence and charisma that made us friends. People will continue to pour out blessings to you when your heart shows before your hands do. I love this movement and I know your mom is proud. By the way tell her thanks for the throwback picture of Gerald and all of us overseas. Much love from ya boy Perry.

Re: “Industry

I spent every Sat night there between '95-98. I never had so much fun. Menjo's, Backstreet and Industry were the places to be on Sat in Detroit. Arrived late and always left early and danced the entire time.

Re: “Pretty... But Not So Reckless

LOL I have also seen her live, and I think she fantastic. Her movements on stage are fluid, she has a very noticable stage presence- fun and energetic, and her voice is not forced. Forcing your voice to sound raspy like that would kill it. Her voice has a lot of power behind it, you don't usually hear a voice like that on someone who is 18 years old.

I understand you may hate her so much, but theres no need to ruin it for anyone who does like her. Whats the point wasting your life on things you don't like?

OMG. Kailegh or however you spell your name, you're such a troll. If you don't like her, why waste your breath commenting on articles on her?

Re: “Pretty... But Not So Reckless

What is laughable is your excuses for why she cannot play the guitar. I play guitar, have been for years. SHE CANNOT PLAY. She stands there and barely strums through the chorus of ONE song. Not because "she wants to move around on stage" because she DOESN'T move on stage. She wobbles around in her stripper shoes and does stripper moves. She doesn't play more, because she CAN'T. She also didn't play ANY guitar on her own album. It's all for show.

I have seen her live, she cannot sing. Taylor forces herself to sound "raspy" when that isn't her natural tone, and it makes hers sound like a dying cat. Her voice was god awful when I saw her. She needs to sing with her NATURAL VOICE, instead of trying so hard to sound "rock" like Courtney Love by faking a raspy voice.

Re: “Pretty... But Not So Reckless

Kayleigh, if you think she can't sing live... I'm just laughing at you right now. She has an incredibly powerful voice live - she sounds even better live than she does on her record.

As for the guitar, yeah, she only plays for one song, but that's because she needs to be moving around on stage during the show.

Re: “Pretty... But Not So Reckless

WHAT A ****ING JOKE! Who wrote this??

I've seen her live and SHE CANNOT PLAY GUITAR!! She stands there holding it and barely strums through ONE SONG! That's playing guitar quite well".

And she's "earned her chops"? The girl who was handed a record deal for being on a tv show, given a pre put together band of professional musicians and is a puppet for her label to control?? You are an idiot man. This girl has no musical talent, can't sing, music is generic as hell, and she CANNOT PLAY GUITAR. She holds it. Maybe if you put your hard on for her back in your pants, you would have actually judged her music for real and not pretend she is "the real deal" because of your apparent crush on her.

Detroit Motor Apparel should have won best local Detroit tshirt shop. They actually design and print their own products.

Re: “Best Retail

Guitar Center? Only if you want a limited selection of the same mass-produced big-brand instruments available literally everywhere else in the nation. Motor City Guitars in Waterford has a huge selection with a balance of big brands and boutique instruments curated by a local owner - it's a place actually unique to the Detroit area. Also, I am in no way affiliated with Motor City Guitars - I just find it sort of embarrassing that this list has so many national chains.
