★★★★ 1/2An amazing departure from everything else that's going on in music, Twin Shadow a.k.a. George Lewis Jr., manages to create music that's both as interesting and poetic as it is hazy and melodic. With definite influences pulled from The Cure, Modern English and the rest of their ilk as well, this new wave artist is pretty much pulling a Back to the Future on us in terms of the music he's making. A sophomore release for the artist, this album is full of tracks you can either just play as mellow background music or really listen quite intently to.
