Titus Andronicus

Local Business

★★★★ 1/2

XL Recordings

Hearing "everything is inherently worthless" less than 30 seconds into the first track ("Ecce Home") instantly gives Local Business by Titus Andronicus a "fuck it all, I do what I want" attitude. That rebellious vibe, the epitome of punk, is felt throughout the whole album. While their instrumentation is downright amazing – their sound is incredibly filled out and pretty fucking awesome – the screechy vocals are exactly what you'd hope to find in a punk band. Though this might not be their best album ever, if you're looking for the perfect record to dance around to in the shower before a stressful day of working for the man, give it a listen. We promise it'll brighten your morning a bit.

Worth a Listen: "(I Am The) Electric Man"
