★ ★ ★ ★Self-described as "An EP in length, but well beyond that in scope," this four track, nautically-themed work may be short, but having just released a full-length record last year, we're not complaining about this newest addition to their discography. Having already released two of the four tracks before the EP's debut on 7/24, fans scoping YouTube already have a good taste of what follows. "Crest" is a hazy sort of hybrid between the feel of The Weeknd's House of Balloons and Radiohead's Kid A and my favorite of the four. But deeply contrasting is their initial release, "Drift Drive." More upbeat and best employed as background music, this track is probably the least likeable of the four, but certainly not bad.
