Big Machine
Pretty little Miss Swift has certainly been making a departure from her country roots in the past few years, and this newest addition to her discography is nothing but an extension of that. Though she released five singles before the record even hit shelves, there are actually 22 total tracks on Red. In songs like "State of Grace," for example, hardly a twang can be heard and in its stead comes a pure rock sound. While "Begin Again" still holds on to the genre that Swift first rose to fame for, the rest are a mix of pop and rock with just a hint of country. Though her single "We Are Never Getting Back Together" is already a fan favorite, it's also one of the best and most fun tracks found here.
