★ ★ ★Bluegrass, old-timey, folk, Americana are all words that should describe what country music stands for. Sadly, those principles seem lost to those creating what is known as mainstream these days. Luckily, however, the men of OCMS still hold those virtues dear and continue to create tunes that make a country music lover proud. That said, this isn't OCMS's best record. In comparison to their iconic signature "Wagon Wheel" most of this CD sounds hollow, perhaps due to the fact this is the sort of music that's best served live. There are redeeming factors here, however, one being "Levi," a track with heart, soul and a great sound. Similarly as good is "Mississippi Saturday Night," a quick tune with tons of harmonica fused with their signature strings.
