Clearly not far from anything they've done before, the newest record from Maroon 5 is, at least, on the next level. While we're all ready to never hear "Moves Like Jagger" ever again (Please! Never!) tracks like "Love Somebody" and "Daylight" are a welcome replacement for mindless but mostly enjoyable pop songs. "Lucky Strike" bares a shocking resemblance to the aforementioned and hopefully soon-to-be blacklisted single and "Doin' Dirt" and "Lady Killer" have such a disco feel it's almost impossible not to imagine Levine doing the hustle in polyester bell bottoms. Does the album cross any boundaries? No, but, all-in-all, it's an enjoyable listen.

Worth a Listen: "Love Somebody"
