Remember when the Somerset Collection opened its Detroit locale, aptly titled Somerset Collection CityLoft? And the hope was to rejuvenate shopping within the city proper? Well, the experiment was such a smashing success that Somerset will once again be reopening its doors in downtown Detroit. And the measured success of this fantastic endeavor doesn't just come from the Troy headquarters itself. In speaking with business owners in the general vicinity of the Loft, it's been a pretty general consensus that the shopping district has been a smashing success, doing exactly what it aimed to do – bring people downtown to shop once again. CityLoft will be opening June 28, only for that weekend – Thursday through Saturday – for your shopping pleasure. It will be an exciting event, and if you need to do some summer shopping (don't we all?), save it up for one exciting weekend!
