Southern Comfort Bold Black Cherry
Contrary to popular belief, flavoring spirits is NOT a new or modern innovation; for years, brewers and distilleries have tinkered like alchemists in the noble quest to enhance the distinctive tastes of their potables. Southern Comfort, for example, was the happy result of one New Orleans bartender's determined resolve to find just the right formula of fruits and spices to give a Dixie whiskey a little more personality. Now the company has a Bold Black Cherry on its roster – a righteous lovely drink possessing in equal measure the traditional vigor of what came before and the tempting sweetness of a French kiss. And why not? As we mentioned already, this comforting quaff traces its lineage back to the Big Easy. Laissez les bon temps roulez!
