Relatively new as a compilation, but seeped in experience individually, the Divine Fits combines Britt Daniel of Spoon, Dan Boeckner of Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade, and Sam Brown of New Brown Turks to make up the latest "supergroup." While supergroups are great in theory, they have – at times – earned quite the negative connotation, so it's easy to say that Divine Fits is slightly successful because they came together on the pure note that they all love the experimentation of music and found that they can successfully create something progressive together. While their variety in electro beats may be lacking, their intelligence and originality in their lyrics is satisfying.
