This year’s River Days will bring back a number of its popular family-friendly activities, including the signature Parade of Lights, Diamond Jack’s River Tours, Ultimate Air Dogs, Pooch-a-Palooza Pet Walk, Cars on the Water, The Parade Company’s Kids’ Zone, carnival rides and games, delicious food and incredible live music performed on three different stages. Now, if you've never been to the Target Fireworks, you just...haven't lived. And I refuse to consider you a Detroit-er. The Target Fireworks, choreographed by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, is one of the most spectacular and largest fireworks displays in the world with more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects lighting up the international skyline over the Detroit River. Catch them Monday (6/21) night, and why not relive your childhood, year after year. River Days is a celebration of Detroit’s river, history and cultural with activities on land and water, including tall ships, live music, sand sculptures, river tours, carnival rides, jet-ski demos, kids activities, delicious eats and much more! “Free Friday” promotion – admission to the festival will be free between 11am and 5pm on Friday, June 18. "First Hour Free" promotion on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20, the first hour between 11am and noon is free to the public. Be there! Atwater St., Detroit 48226
