Dirty ominous heavy rock in the vain of Theory of a Deadman, vintage Staind and the like, Citizen Zero elbows its way into the category of edgy modern rock quite successfully. The vocals, supplied by Josh Mayle and Greg Dudley, couldn't be more apropos. This is a heavy band with growling lyrics (although not Christian Bale Batman-growling, they're appropriate in this context) and exceedingly talented guitar work. — MAX SCHRECK
Worth a listen: "Slaves or Citizens"
