One Little Indian Records
Never one to conform to the norms of society (or the music industry, for that matter), Bjork has once again set out on a musical quest that differentiates her from any of her most abnormal contemporaries. Biophilia contains slight hints of Bjork's previous seven albums, but also differentiates itself entirely in many ways. It was partially recorded on an iPad and was also partially released as such (it's billed as the "first app album" in conjunction with Apple). The album proper, unsurprisingly, continues the Icelandic eccentric's path of oddity. That said, the sound of the album doesn't stray much from her recent, non-Post releases of the past 10 years. Yawn.
