St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair returns to Orchard Lake to officially kick off summertime on Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 25 – Monday, May 28. General admission to the Fair is FREE and the event is hosted and sponsored by St. Mary’s.

The Fair is the nation’s largest high school fair and the largest fundraiser for the legendary educational institution, attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year. Money raised is used to support student initiatives and maintain and improve the 26 buildings that span three different centuries on the 120-acre campus.

In terms of the outstanding food selections, visitors will enjoy more than 25,000 Pierogi (including farmer's cheese, sauerkraut, potato, mushroom and potato/cheddar), 12,000 Polish sausages, 2,000 lbs of stuffed cabbage, 110 gallons of sauerkraut, 225 lbs of dill pickles and 140 loaves of rye bread. (Fun fact: farmer's cheese is the #1 selling type of pierogi!).

Music is also key at the fair. From top 40 to polka, visitors will be treated to a lineup featuring: the Persuasion Band, Howling Diablos, ‘80s cover band the Mega 80’s and The Polish Muslims.

The Vegas tent will return for visitors 18+ with several casino games: traditional blackjack, craps, roulette, Big Wheel and Texas Hold’em. Parents and professionals will serve as the dealers for all tables and a cash bar with adult beverages will be available for individuals 21+ who will be required to wear a wristband. Admission to get inside the tent is $5 per person and ID is required.
